Field Trip: Frederick Douglass Historical Site

Come and experience a piece of our nation’s cultural history at the Frederick Douglas Historical Site! Take a guided tour through the home where Frederick Douglass, one of America’s most influential social reformers and abolitionists, spent his last years writing and advocating for civil rights.

Transportation will be provided from Iona, 4125 Albemarle St. NW, leaving at 12:15 pm. Arrive at Iona at by noon to allow time for complete  a brief registration and waiver form; you are welcome to bring your lunch and eat with us as you fill it out. The tour will begin at 1:15 pm.
