The Sandra Y. Johnson Sextet is comprised of:  Jon Ozment, piano; Wes Biles, bass; Greg Holloway, drums; Ben Sands, saxophone; David Cole, guitar; and, Sandra Y. Johnson, vocals.

Most of the members have been performing together since 2005 and have performed at several concerts, private and special events, outdoor festivals, including the Bethesda Fine Arts Festival, The Howard Theatre 100th year anniversary, area restaurants and jazz clubs, The Smithsonian American Arts Museum, The Smithsonian Anacostia Community Museum, The Phillips Collection, and The Walters Art Museum, to name a few. Additionally, they perform Jazz, Blues, and R&B Oldies, including Motown at various senior wellness centers and nursing homes around the Washington, DC Area.

Sandra Y. Johnson is a native Washingtonian, served 37 years of Federal Service, and has earned a Master’s Degree in Arts Management from American University.  She has two Jazz CDs to her credit, “Steppin’ Out” and “What are You Doing the Rest of Your Life”, both of which can be purchased on www.cdbaby.com/sandrayjohnson.
