Discover the drummer in you as Nat Aguilar shows you the ropes with a pair of sticks and a 5 gallon bucket! You will learn how to get the three basic sounds out of a bucket and explore different styles such as rock, latin, and DC’s own original style, GO-GO!  Other fun activities include using household items as percussion instruments. Come and explore the world of rhythm and sounds!

Nat Aguilar is a diverse percussionist from the Washington D.C. area.  He has played bucket drums as a street performer in Florida, Maryland, D.C., Pennsylvania, and New York.  Additionally he played a unique bucket drum and “found” percussion drum set with Florida artists Dish, and Buckets and Strings in the mid 2000’s.

He currently teaches private lessons, performs with several groups (Crush Funk, Funky Miracle, Waterside Vibes), and also directs the worship music at his home church in Rockville, MD, Twinbrook Community Church.
