Juneteenth Federal Holiday:

Juneteenth is a federal holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. Observed on June 19th, it marks the day in 1865 when Union soldiers arrived in Galveston, Texas, announcing the end of slavery, two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
