Intro to Watercolor with Zola Monroe Art Group at the Cleveland Park Library
April 2 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Thursday, repeating until May 14, 2020
In this two-hour workshop, students will learn basic watercolor techniques. The group will complete a series of watercolor paintings using these techniques. Techniques such as dry brush and wet into wet will be demonstrated by our teacher, followed by ample time for students to experiment with the materials and techniques on their own while creating. The instructor will demonstrate how to set up a drawing from life, from set up and sketching and how to structure your painting. Feel free to bring inspirational images for your watercolors. All materials provided and no experience with watercolors is necessary! This class is intended for DC Residents age 60 plus. Register with Pauline Sealey at Pauline.firstname.lastname@example.org.
