Are you feeling down lately from stress, illness, or the “blahs”? Do you wish you had greater capacity to enjoy life? Do you suffer from chronic pain? In this hands-on and safe online class, you will be introduced to time-tested mindfulness and meditation practices that can increase happiness, help cope with chronic pain and ease depression and anxiety. The 6-week course will include discussions, meditations, sharings, and weekly required homework practices, all focused on increasing health and well-being.
You will learn the foundational teachings and practices to start your own practice of mindfulness and meditation, one of the most powerful medicines in the world. Being human is challenging. Kaili Mang Jeyarajah, our Instructor, is completing her certificate in Mindfulness and Meditation through the Awareness Training Institute at the University of California at Berkeley.
