Have you noticed this building on Albemarle Street and wondered what goes on there? Do you know what Iona Senior Services is and how the organization can help you and others in the community?
Iona has been working with older adults in Washington, DC since 1975. Every year, Iona directly helps 3,500+ older adults and their families with the challenges and opportunities of aging.
Even though the building is not open to the public, Iona has continued to offer adult day programs, support groups, counseling, care management, nutrition services, advocacy, social work, financial counseling; fitness, art and other classes.
Please join us at this Heart of Iona tour on Thursday, March 18th from 3:30-4:30pm to learn more about all the services that Iona offers
