Cold winter days and nights are perfect times for warm, comforting stews. Cooking stews is also a great way to use whatever food you have in the house. Drawing from flavors around the world, Chef Susan will lead us in preparing a couple of stews along with sharing tips for cooking creating your own stews.

Susan Barocas is a writer, cook, teacher and speaker with a passion for healthy cooking and Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Jewish cuisines. Founding director of the innovative Jewish Food Experience, she served as guest chef for three of President Obama’s White House Seders.
