Cold winter days and nights are perfect times for warm, comforting stews. Cooking stews is also a great way to use whatever food you have in the house. Drawing from flavors around the world, Chef Susan will lead us in preparing delicious foods!

February 24 – Stews 2 Continuing our class from January, we’ll make a vegetable-chickpea curry and a Moroccan vegetable stew as well as talk about spice mixes

Susan Barocas is a writer, cook, teacher and speaker with a passion for healthy cooking and Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Jewish cuisines. Founding director of the innovative Jewish Food Experience, she served as guest chef for three of President Obama’s White House Seders.
