In this four-week class, you will write your own song. We will discover together the basics of songwriting, patterning our songs on some simple song forms that will make writing your own tune easier!  As we delve into your own creative process, we will explore how generate ideas and lyrics, how to silence or placate your inner “critic,” and how to have fun playing with words and melodies.  If you don’t play a musical instrument, you can sing a capella or write a poem with these same techniques, so all are welcome.
