Very few people feel content and connected most of the time.  Most of us want more friends, particularly today when we have been alone in our homes for so long.  But how do you find new friends and get closer to your current ones, particularly at this point in history?  The pandemic is loosening its grip, but we have spent a year alone in our homes and are venturing out slowly and with great care.  Around Town asked Dale Brown, who leads  a study group on social isolation for Iona Senior Services, to share her expertise and to guide a discussion.  She will share her insights and ask for yours.  If you have found a new friend in the past year or deepened your friendships, come prepared to tell us how you did it.
