The DC Department of For-Hire Vehicles (DFHV) has partnered with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority’s (WMATA’s) MetroAccess program and the DC Department of Transportation to provide a premium transportation alternative to WMATA’s MetroAccess paratransit services -Transport DC.  The program provides this transportation alternative to eligible District of Columbia residents to any location within the District’s borders by offering the following:

• Affordable transportation
• Customer service
• Alternative paratransit service
• Scheduling ahead for transportation  
• Comfortable travel
• One stop pick-up and drop-off
• Companion rider support

Ty Stover Sr. is the Grants Management Specialist for the District Governments Department of For-Hire Vehicles.  In this capacity he manages the day to day and strategic operations of the TransportDC grant program.  With over 20 years’ experience in the grants arena Ty has continuously demonstrated his commitment to social programs, workforce development initiatives, and devoted his professional skills to furthering the mission of a number of local and national non-profit organizations.
