Refresh your skills on a variety of topics with B Milenovic from the Tenley-Friendship Neighborhood Public Library. Sign up for the programs and you will receive a Zoom link for each session. Ignore the invite if the topic isn’t of interest to you.
January 5 – Basic Zoom Skills Workshop
Topics: 30,000 foot overview of the platform; navigation; meeting control; how to schedule a meeting – basic steps.
January 12 –Intermediate Zoom Skills Workshop
Safety and security; waiting room; inviting others to join your meeting; basic meeting settings; one click password embed.
January 19 –Advanced Zoom Skills Workshop
Breakout Rooms; share screen; polling; recording; advanced settings.
January 26 – Intro to Online Calendars

February 2 – Intro to Personal Archiving
Do you have boxes with images and slides in your basement or attic? Have you always wanted to surprise your loved ones with a family video but don’t know where to start? Take this on-line workshop and learn the first steps. Among other things, we’ll cover principles of personal archiving, archiving workflow, and digitizing. Be ready to take some notes.:-)
This class is open to all levels. To maximize your learning experience, you should be comfortable using your smartphone and computer (e.g. know how to download an app or create a folder on your desktop).
