Enjoy mindfulness and stretching exercises with experienced yoga and mindfulness instructor Camille Martone. The group will do warm-ups, stretching, and breathing exercises – standing, seated, and on the floor, depending on the needs of the participants. We look forward to having you join us and hope you will leave the class with more energy but also feel more focused and relaxed. Use your own yoga mat and a thick towel.  This class is intended for DC Residents age 60 plus who have some yoga experience.

Camille Martone is a DC resident and certified as an adult (and kids) yoga instructor. She has been teaching yoga to kids and adults for many years. Currently she teaches yoga to underserved residents in SE DC through A Wider Circle, staff at a local middle school, chair yoga at Cordoza health Center, and mindfulness and movement to homeless individuals at Thrive DC.

Participate in our fitness classes through Zoom. We will send you a link to join the class before the class begins. Email: Community@iona.org if you need help accessing Zoom. Once you have registered for one class, you will be enrolled in that class each week. You do need to register for other classes other days. Please register by 9:00 pm the night before the class is to take place. Registrants after 9:00 pm may not be invited to the class the following day.Participate in the exercise programs  at your own risk and remember to consult with your doctor before starting a new fitness program.
