Join us for a guided tour of the Katzen Arts Center current exhibits. We will focus on the Robert Franklin Gates retrospective of his work from the 1930’s to 1970’s.

Our guide will also take us through the exhibit on the photographer Volkmar Wentzel, an international photojournalist with National Geographic.  This relatively small exhibit is adjacent to the Gates exhibit in the museum, and the two artists knew each other, both living and working in West Virginia and Washington, DC.

Those of us who still have energy can enjoy the other exhibitions there, including the Washington Print Club collection of Portraits, Good Form, Decorum and in the Manner.

Meet at 11:00 am in the lobby of the Katzen Center at Ward Circle (the junction between Nebraska and Massachusetts Ave.) There is paid parking underneath the building and free buses from the Tenleytown metro stop.

Let us know that you will be joining us.
