A Walking Tour of Prominent Civil War sites

Meet outside of Metro Center, 11th and G Streets, NW

This walking tour will focus on the Civil War in Washington DC. We will visit the exterior of Ford’s Theater and Petersen House, Baptist Alley, the Portrait Gallery, the National Building Museum, ending our walk at the National Gallery of Art. Along the way will discuss some of the personalities and events from that era that helped shape our city.
