Workshop: Technology and Transportation

Commuting and traveling has never been easier thanks to the help of technology. If you are looking for a quick, economic, and convenient way of getting around the city, join us to learn some of the new, easy smartphone applications, including Lyft, Spin, and Uber.  Learn the basics of what ride sharing is, how to get started, and how to be safe. This workshop will be taught by a current commuter/student.

The one-hour seminar will be held at Iona Senior Services on Wednesday, June 26th from 10-11:00 am.
4125 Albemarle St. NW. Iona is one block from the Tenleytown Metro stop on the red line. Neighborhood parking and some parking available in the lot underneath the building accessed on 42nd Street.

Register below.
This workshop will be most useful if you use (and bring along) your smartphone.
