While this engagement still looks somewhat different from pre-pandemic years, 308 Iona volunteers and interns gave more than 11,000 hours of their time in service to our mission supporting older adults in FY23.

Explore a fresh approach to drawing portraits by prioritizing the shadows of the face instead of fussing over details right from the start. We’ll start with a general foundation guided by the shadows of the face that we will develop slowly and progressively, saving the essential features of the portrait to the end. The course will open doors to other ways of drawing and equip artists with a more forgiving strategy for portraiture. All backgrounds and experience levels are welcome.
