Cheryl Smith from the Department of Aging and Community Living will help us understand the variety of services and policies need to know in advance of the Medicare Part D Open Season. Join us at the Tenleytown Neighborhood Library on Monday, September 16 from 5:00-7:00 pm.

Lunchtime concert programs

Fall Concert, Conversation, and Lunch Series

Please come to hear a delightful live music performance, enjoy a delicious boxed lunch, and participate in a facilitated conversation with people from your community. This program is intended for DC residents age 60 plus. Register a week before the program is offered so we know how many lunches to order.

Not Ready to Retire?

You’re in your fifties, sixties or beyond and have saved nothing or not nearly enough to retire. You don’t want to be blamed or shamed about it. Too late for that. What you want to know is whether there is anything you can do now to intercept the precarious financial path you’re on. Join us at either Cleveland Park or West End to hear acclaimed author, Elizabeth White, speak about some strategies to help you cope in this time of your life.
