Do you want to stay strong and independent as you age? Engaging in regular strength training and improving balance can help you maintain the freedom and active lifestyle you enjoy. This class includes exercises to strengthen your muscles, enhance balance and improve joint mobility. Senior Strength and Balance includes both seated and standing exercises that use your own body weight to improve your muscular strength, bone density, flexibility and help prevent falls. No special equipment needed. All fitness levels are welcome. 

Ruth’s Bio:
A lifelong love of dance and movement therapy led Ruth Barnes to become a fitness instructor in 1999. Ruth is certified by the American Council on Exercise as a Group Fitness Instructor and is also a certified Zumba and Zumba Gold Instructor. Her philosophy is that exercise should be fun, safe, and accessible to everyone. Her goal is to welcome participants to an enjoyable experience of movement.

To participate in this class, no prior registration is required.
