Take advantage of DC’s Falls Prevention Awareness Week — a free, citywide event series aimed at helping older adults stay strong, steady, and safe.

At each event, participants can:
✔️ Receive free screenings for balance, strength, vision, blood pressure, and medications
✔️ Learn simple exercises and home safety tips
✔️ Discover how to safely get up after a fall
✔️ Enjoy free snacks, a giveaway bag, raffles, and a “File of Life” from AARP DC

  • Van departs from Iona (4125 Albemarle St NW) at 9:30 AM.

    • We will pick everyone up from the event at 2:00 PM and drive back to Iona.
