Join artist Lindsay Mueller for a three-week virtual sketchbook series exploring different prompts, ideas, and ways to approach a sketchbook practice from home. Each week will offer something new to try, with exercises focused on drawing, mark making, color, observation, and creative expression.

This is a drop-in workshop series, so participants are welcome to join for one session or attend all three. There is no need to build on previous sessions or have prior drawing experience.

Bring a sketchbook or paper and whatever drawing materials you have at home. All skill levels are welcome!

Lindsay’s Bio:

Lindsay Mueller is an artist fascinated by the layered relationships humans have with outdoor spaces. She typically creates paintings inspired by local fragments of landscape, often incorporating sculptural elements in her process. Mueller holds a BFA in Painting and a BA in Psychology from Boston University and an MFA in Visual Arts from American University. She has exhibited across the East Coast at venues including the University of Mary Washington, Adah Rose Gallery, the Peale Museum, and Chautauqua Institution. In 2023 she received the Bethesda Painting Young Artist Award, and she was a 2025 Sondheim Art Prize semifinalist. She is currently an artist-in-residence at MoCA Arlington.
