This November, the DC Public Library invites our community to help create a special limited run of official DC Public Library cards through a community art contest!

Join us at Iona for a group art-making session where you can create your own artwork for the contest. We’ll provide the printed template and art supplies, and help you prepare your entry for submission. The contest is organized by DC Public Library, and participation in our art-making session is completely optional — everyone is welcome to create/submit artwork on their own as well!

Show DCPL what you love about the District, whether it’s our neighborhoods, culture, people, history, or anything else that makes our city special. This joyful, community-centered project invites residents of all ages to express what they love about Washington, DC.
