TAI CHI is an ancient mind body exercise that has many applications to 21st century life.  Potential benefits include improving balance, coordination, body awareness, focus, and posture.  It’s challenging, but also relaxing and restorative.

Diane Harris has been studying tai chi for 20 years and has taught in a variety of settings.  Her teaching style is interactive, encouraging, and practical.  She emphasizes applications of tai chi to everyday movement and challenges—and how we can apply tai chi principles to real life.  Diane teaches the Yang style 24-form, Sun style short form, Tai Chi for Better Balance (8-move form), and shibashi (18-movement) tai chi qigong.  Class activities are accessible to participants from beginners to advanced students. Diane is a patient instructor who will break down this martial art form into numbers and movements so that it is easy to learn.
