Join Dr. Tania Vora, a cardiologist from MedStar Georgetown University Hospital as she empowers the audience with need-to-know information about heart failure signs, symptoms, and the steps you can take to find the best care locally for you and your loved ones.
Dr. Tania Anu Vora, MD, FACC, is an advanced heart failure physician at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital and MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital, and previously served as the only advanced heart failure cardiologist for the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group across D.C., Baltimore, and Virginia. She specializes in diagnosing and managing acute and chronic heart failure, including end-stage disease, as well as infiltrative cardiomyopathies such as cardiac sarcoidosis and amyloidosis. Dr. Vora works with a multidisciplinary team to assess candidates for home inotropic therapy, LVAD implantation, and heart transplantation, using advanced imaging and genetic testing to support her evaluations.
