Are you a senior looking for a fun and effective fitness class? Look no further than Zumba Gold! This dance fitness program is specifically designed for active older adults, providing a workout that promotes cardiovascular health, flexibility, and overall well-being. It is beginner-friendly, easy to follow, and a great option for many fitness levels.

Zumba Gold incorporates low-impact dance moves that are gentle on the joints while still offering a fantastic workout. The choreography is modified to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for seniors. You can groove to the rhythm, burn calories, and improve cardiovascular fitness without putting excessive stress on your body. The combination of dance movements and energetic music creates a lively and heart-pumping workout, helping to strengthen the heart, improve balance and coordination, and lift the spirit. So put on your dancing shoes (sneakers) and come join us for a workout that feels like a dance party.

Ruth’s Bio:

A lifelong love of dance and movement therapy led Ruth Barnes to become a fitness instructor in 1999. Ruth is certified by the American Council on Exercise as a Group Fitness Instructor and is also a certified Zumba and Zumba Gold Instructor. Her philosophy is that exercise should be fun, safe, and accessible to everyone. Her goal is to welcome participants to an enjoyable experience of movement.
