Please join us for a walk around the Mount Pleasant neighborhood, named the coolest neighborhood in D.C. by Time Out magazine in 2024.  Mount Pleasant has seen it all.  It began as a wealthy suburban village after the Civil War, and later became home to different waves of immigrants and activists in the 20^th Century.   Today, Mount Pleasant is known for its vibrant Latino community, diversity and fun foodie scene, while it struggles to maintain its character amid increasing gentrification.
