  • June 11 @ 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Scammers specifically target older adults, and the people closest to them are often the first line of defense. In this practical, plain-language session, you’ll learn how to help your loved one spot fraud before it happens, what to do the moment something goes wrong, and the legal rights that can put them back in control.

Jenelle M. Dennis, Esq. is the founder of The Consumer Law Lab, a consumer protection practice based in Washington, DC, but serving clients across the country. She focuses her practice on electronic payment fraud and helping everyday people fight back when banks and payment platforms fail them. Before founding her firm, Jenelle served as a federal law enforcement attorney at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, where she worked to enforce consumer financial protection laws, including on issues impacting older adults. She brings that same commitment to accountability to her private practice, where she represents consumers whose hard-earned money has been taken through scams, unauthorized transfers, and deceptive practices. www.theconsumerlawlab.com
