With over 7,000 members the annual fee for new members is $20 for one person and $38 for two people at the same address. They offer a wide range of classes, seminars, events, and discounts.

University of the District of Columbia (UDC) Institute of Gerontology: Bodywise Program

The Bodywise Health and Fitness Program is a free program designed to promote health, wellness, and fitness for DC residents 60 years of age and older. Some of the benefits which may be achieved include: an increase in participants’ cardiovascular efficiency, improved muscular strength and flexibility, and increased knowledge of physical activity. The BODYWISE program consists of water aerobics, yoga, low-impact aerobics, and movement/chair exercise. Classes are conducted by certified instructors.
