Join artist and educator Nick Cruz Velleman in a guided practice 2 session painting a winter landscape in watercolor from the comfort of your home. Refamiliarize yourself with the fundamentals of watercolor while embracing a framework creative process adaptable to a wide variety of artistic subjects. We can also discuss general tips and strategies for practicing watercolor. All backgrounds and experience levels are welcome.

Materials:

• Beginner watercolor set: no more than 12 colors
• One watercolor brush roughly size 18 (flat/square preferred, round is fine)
• One watercolor brush roughly size 10 (flat/square preferred, round is fine)
• One watercolor palette (if your set doesn’t already include one)
• One container for water
• Paper towels
• Pad of watercolor paper, at least 12 sheets, at least 9×12” 140lb/300gsm
• Pencil
