Join Adrian Sutton from the DC Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) for an interactive “Show and Tell” session on how to spot popular and ever-evolving online scams targeting older adults and emerging wearable tech designed to support health, safety, and confidence for older adults, featuring devices many people are finding helpful.
This gentle yoga class is designed for older adults who prefer a slower-paced practice. Students will use a chair and mat to experience a gradual progression of yoga poses to strengthen and stretch the body and breathing practices to calm the mind. The teacher will tailor the poses to accommodate the needs of different bodies, such as tight hips and hamstrings or cranky knees. All levels are welcome.
